Founded in August, 2005, Hua-Shih College of Education(HSCE) formerly belonged to National Hua-Lien

University of Education, which was merged with National Dong Hwa University in 2008. As the university has

shifted from a teacher preparation institute to a general higher education entity, the goal of this college

has extended from simply training elementary educators to foster professionals in the field of

education.With a newly modified mission, scope and commitment, HSCE just embarked on a rejuvenated

exploration to develop the knowledge, skill, wisdom, and imagination of ists students. It is hoped that our

faculty and students alike may take leadership in efforts to address issues and seek solutions that direct

the future of education.
